    To enshrine in law a covenant prescribing a commitment between the people of India and the Armed Forces Community serving as well as retired and their immediate families pledging a duty of care and improving support towards them in return for their bravery and sacrifices made for protecting the nation and to ensure that they face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto, be taken into consideration.

    To provide for the establishment of an independent authority namely the Lokpal to investigate offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, to detect corruption by expeditious investigation and to prosecute offenders and to ensure timely redressal of certain types of public grievances and to provide protection to whistleblowers and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

    Bill introduced to provide for the protection of right to privacy of persons including those who are in public life so as to protect them from being blackmailed or harassed or their image and reputation tarnished in order to spoil their public life and for the prevention of misuse of digital technology for such purposes and for matters connected therewith.

  • Bill No – 59 : The victims of Naxalite Acts of violence (Relief and Rehabilitation) Bill, 2010

    Bill to provide for the financial compensation monthly allowance, relief and other rehabilitation measures and facilities to the dependents of persons killed in naxalite acts of violence and those losing their property, crops, houses etc due to such violence in the country and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

  • Bill No – 61 : The Renewable energy (Promotion and compulsory use) Bill, 2010

    Bill to provide for the promotion and greater exploitation of renewable energy available from solar heat, wind, biogas, urban waste, tides waves, geothermal sources etc by making its use compulsory by certain establishments and house holds in order to reduce the over dependence on fossil fuels for energy needs resulting in global warming, noxious emissions and ecological and climatologically imbalances to protect the environment and for the establishment of a Board for the purpose and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

    Bill introduced stating the provision for the appointment of judges and retired Judges as provided for in articles 127 and 128 appear to be unreasonable and unnecessary. The appointment of retired Judges is also contradictory in spirit. The Bill seeks to make appropriate changes.
