TRANSFER OF DEFENCE LAND FOR BUILDING FLYOVER

2278. SHRI RAJEEV CHANDRASEKHAR:
Will the Minister of DEFENCE be pleased to state:
(a) Whether any clearance has been sought by the State Government of Karnataka for transfer of portion of defence land that belongs to the Air Force Training Command in Bengaluru to facilitate the proposed steel flyover between Basaveshwara Circle and Hebbal, along the route leading to the international airport in Bengaluru, a project that is being opposed by large sections of Bengalureans; and
(b) If so, the details thereof?
