Status of Loans to Farmers by PSBs in Karnataka

3605. SHRI RAJEEV CHANDRASEKHAR:

Will the minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:

(a) The details of the loans given by the Public Sector Banks (PSBs) to small and marginal farmers of Karnataka during the last three years, year-wise and bank- wise ; and

(b) The present status of NPAs of these loans in each of the bank as on date?

(a) & (b) : Bank wise details of loans provided by Public Sector Banks to small and marginal farmers of Karnataka during the last three years is given in Annex-1

Bank- wise data on outstanding loans to small and marginal farmers in Karnataka State by public sector banks as on 31^st March 2008,2009 and 2010 relating to loans with credit limit above `2 Lakh and NPA out of them is given in Annex-II.
