MINISTER OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
(SMT. SMRITI ZUBIN IRANI)
(a) & (b): The State Government has identified land in Raichur (688 acres), Mysore (499 acres) and Dharwad (500-600 acres) free from legal encumbrances for establishment of an IIT in Karnataka. The finalization of the land for setting up of an IIT in Karnataka will be consequent upon the recommendation made by the Site Selection Committee being set up for the purpose of assessing the suitability of these sites identified by the State Government of Karnataka.
