Will the Minister of WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state the steps taken by the Ministry since December last year, after it received a petition from over 1.8 lakh citizens, requesting a review of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), Act, 2013?

No such petition has been received in the Ministry. Hence, no review of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), Act, 2012 has been done.
