Overcharging of Subsidy by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) 

2140. SHRI RAJEEV CHANDRASEKHAR: 

Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS be pleased to state; 

(a)   whether certain Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have been found to be involved in overcharging subsidy from Government; 

(b)   if so, the details thereof and the losses sustained to public exchequer on this account in the last three years;

 (c)    whether Government has conducted any investigations into this issue; and 

(d)   if so, the details thereof and action taken against the guilty OMCs?
