Lack of Facilities for CISF Personnel at Airports.

Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-

(a)        whether Government is aware of the fact that in airports, such at Bengaluru Airport, the CISF personnel have to sleep outside the airport in the open and have no other visible facilities; and

(b)        if so, the steps Government proposes to take to ensure that these forces and their men are adequately taken care of?

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS

(a) :      The CISF personnel deployed at Bengaluru Airport have been provided the facilities of both Barrack and residential accommodation.  The Airport Management has provided accommodation facilities for Gazetted Officers, Bachelors, Ladies, families and for the Quick Reaction Team (QRT).

(b) :      Not applicable.
