DPR on Mekedatu Project

Will the Minister of WATER RESOURCES, RIVER DEVELOPMENT AND GANGA REJUVENATION be pleased to state:

(a) Whether Karnataka Government has submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) on the proposed Mekedatu project;

(b) The details of estimated cost of the project to be shared by the Central and State Governments;

(c) The share of drinking water proposed to be allocated to Bengaluru; and

(d) The proposed timeline for completion of the project?

(a) No Detailed Project Report (DPR) on the proposed Mekedatu project has been submitted in Central Water Commission (CWC) by Government of Karnataka.
