Delay in Rehabilitation of Victims of Delhi Terrorist Attack .

SHRI RAJEEV CHANDRASEKHAR

Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-

(a)        whether it is a fact that all the victims of terrorist attack on 29.10.2005 in Delhi have not so far been properly rehabilitated as many of them have not so far received Government assistance due to indifference and corruption at various levels;

(b)        whether it is also a fact that many victims still need medical treatment for which Government assistance/ reimbursement is needed; and

(c)        if so, the details of such cases available with Government and the steps being taken to help them and at what level these cases are being monitored?

(a):       It is not correct as per the information received from Revenue Department on 27.10.2008, Government of NCT of Delhi.

(b) & (c): All medical assistance reimbursement has been provided in accordance with the relief policy of Government of NCT of Delhi and no case of any victim needing further medical treatment has been brought to the notice of the Revenue Department of Government of NCT of Delhi.
