Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:-
(a) the number of jhuggies in slums gutted in fire in 2007 in the Mori Gate area of Delhi;
(b) the number of persons who lost their lives as a result thereof;
(c) whether any compensation has been paid to the next of kin of the deceased and to those seriously injured; and
(d) the steps so far taken for the relief and rehabilitation of those rendered homeless as a result of fire?

(a): No incident of fire in jhuggies in the area of Mori Gate, Delhi has come to notice of Delhi Police or Delhi Fire Service during the year 2007.
(b) to (d): Do not arise in view of (a) above.
