Prosecution of CBI Officials

Will the Prime Minister be pleased to state:
a) Whether it is a fact that many CBI officials have been prosecuted by various courts in various parts of the country;
b) If so, the details thereof for the last three years, year wise and State-wise; and
c) the steps taken by the Government to ride the CBI of corruption?

Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs; Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office.

(a) & (b) : 30 CBI Officials have been prosecuted during the last 3 years (2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 upto January, 2011) in various courts in the country. The Details are given as under:-
