Multi-Disciplinary School of Economic Intelligence
3172. SHRI RAJEEV CHANDRASEKHAR:
Will the Minister of FINANCE be pleased to state:
(a) whether Government proposes to set up a multi-disciplinary school of economic intelligence to train its intelligence officers, in view of growing linkages, between money and terrorism acts;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) by when such a school is likely to be set up?

(SHRI NAMO NARAIN MEENA)
(a) A decision had been taken at the Economic Intelligence Council (EIC) meeting held on 18.1.2010 to set up a Multi-disciplinary School of Economic Intelligence to develop capacity building in the area of Economic Intelligence. The Multi-Disciplinary School of Economic Intelligence is not a response to growing linkages between money and terrorism acts.
