2018. Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar
Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state
(a) whether Government has given its approval for a proposal by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to hike passenger facilitation fee from the present Rs.70/- to Rs. 250/-

(b) if so, whether this proposed hike would be applicable in short distance sectors also;

(c) whether the AAI has proposed a levy of development fee at SIX more airports; and

(d) if so, the details thereof?

(b) Does not arise

(c) & (d) Levy of user development fee at Amritsar, Udaipur, Varanasi, Trichy, Visakhapatnam, Mangalore, Ahmadabad, Trivandrum, Aurangabad, Dehradun, Srinagar and Surat are subject to examination and approval by the Ministry/ Air Port Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA).
