Chinese Military Infrastructure Along LAC

233. SHRI RAJEEV CHANDRASEKHAR:

Will the Minister of Defence be pleased to state:-

(a)   Whether Government has received information from Indian Army about China’s military modernization, especially in its infrastructure, on the Line of Actual Control at Demchok in South-East Ladakh; and

(b)   If so, the steps Government is taking to address this potential security threat to our country?

(a)   & (b): Government regularly monitors all developments on the borders which may have an impact on national security. All necessary measures are being taken to maintain the required level of defence preparedness.
